I had a similar problem at not being able to play Arkham Knight after the last 2 patches, and had given up on trying to fix it til now. Someone had suggested that you go to the Arkham Knight files in your Steam folder (mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam Client\SteamApps\common\Batman Arkham Knight) and remove the Read-Only tag in properties from everything in the folder.
WB announced that Arkham Knight will be the final game for the Arkham game series. This is devastating news that will sadden me a lot. However I am looking forward to this game, but I just want to ask if any of you other people are also unhappy that this is the finisher. I want the series to end, but I don't want it to end!

Swap to battle mode and glide up the ramp to the left of the board, crossing over the thin narrow bridge. Stop the Batmobile just past the small Riddler pressure pad and eject out of it. Once Batman is out of the Batmobile, walk him over to the small pressure pad and then have him take remote control of the Batmobile.
