Please watch my latest video: "I Tested the Petronas Car Care Range | Product Review" Jesse B, owner of a 2006 BMW from Ellsworth, PA. Good paint. Color match is spot on. Shipping was on time. Happy with the service. Raymond P, owner of a 2006 BMW from Hillsborough, NC. Well - it turns out that I bought the paint for a job other than for a BMW. The most common location to find your paint code is on the vehicle identification number (VIN) sticker on the driver's side door jamb. If you can't find it

The BOLD portion of the engine code is explained in each table. The rows below show the different options and the meanings for these configurations. It is important to note, the format below is for BMW engines created since the mid 1980's. Previous generation motors had a simpler naming designation, M10 were 4 cylinders, M20 were small

iTrader: ( 9) On the US cars the paint code is on the inside of the hood. My E92 is Alpine White, the code is 300 (US car). I believe there may be more than one shade of white; but ALPINE white is a specific color - the other shades of white aren't called Alpine and don't have the same code. Similar to jet black and black sapphire metallic.
Ever since I bought it (used), it has been giving a camshaft position sensor exhaust side code (p0369). This is the only code present. I replaced the exhaust camshaft sensor. Code still present. I swapped in the intake camshaft sensor. Code still present only on exhaust) I followed this guide to test the sensors:
A good paint job is going to cost $10k and don't expect it on decent timeline. 10k is a *great paint job on everything except exotics. you're looking at. 2-3k for OK. 4-6k for good. 6-10k for great. 10k+ for custom work/exceptional/rushed great.
WHERE IS THE INTERIOR PAINT CODE ON BMW E90 E91 E92 E93 325i 328i 330i 335i 316d 318d 320d 325d 330d 335d 316i 318i 320i 323i more. more.
This one's pretty thorough, provides German paint name & color code. PDF format. Produced by a BMW enthusiast, not official BMW literture, although it probably should be IMHO. FYI, there appear to be multiple spellings of "Saphirschwarz" / "Sapphireschawarz" in use by BMW depending on year/model. Attachment 370013
